About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Leakage Optimisation Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part of the team by being responsible for highlighting issues related to the leakage-related suite of assets. This position is crucial for understanding and improving leakage within a region. You will be part of a team delivering a unique service to our 14 million customers and join at a ground-breaking time for the water industry.
- Report and raise jobs for all faulty commercial loggers, prioritising as required to assist detection targeting work.
- Conduct leakage detection targeting in your appointed region, utilising available systems.
- Locate jobs and raise notifications promptly to ensure timely job creation.
- Highlight, prioritise, and maintain the DMA proving program, assisting the engineer to ensure resources are directed to the correct DMAs to optimise team productivity.
- Assist the engineer with desktop exercises to improve operability.
- Identify and prioritise field-based validation or desktop activities to highlight anomalies and address operability issues or function set changes.
- Deputise for the Leakage Optimisation Engineer when required, attend meetings, and support the team.

Experience
- Background in leakage or understanding of clean water networks and processes is essential.
- Experience using systems such as SAP and GIS is desirable but not essential.
About you
- Strong communication skills with confidence in organising a varied workload effectively.
- Good time management abilities.
- Comfortable using computer software such as Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
- Willingness to learn and work hard to develop your career within Thames Water.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Qualifications
- Degree educated in a related subject is desirable but not essential.
