About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Leakage Optimisation Analyst. In this role, you will be a key member of the team responsible for identifying and addressing issues related to leakage assets. Your work will be crucial in understanding and improving leakage within your appointed region, helping to deliver a unique service to our 14 million customers during a transformative time for the water industry.

Your responsibilities will include reporting and raising jobs for faulty commercial loggers, prioritising these tasks to support leakage detection targeting. You will locate jobs and raise notifications promptly to ensure timely action. You will also assist with the maintenance and prioritisation of the DMA proving program, working closely with engineers to optimise team productivity. Additionally, you will support desktop exercises to improve operability and identify anomalies requiring field or desktop validation. Occasionally, you will deputise for the Leakage Optimisation Engineer, attend meetings, and provide team support.

Requirements

Experience
Background in leakage or a good understanding of clean water networks and processes is essential. Experience using systems such as SAP and GIS is desirable but not required.

About you
Strong communication skills and confidence in organising a varied workload effectively with good time management are essential. You should be comfortable using computer software such as Microsoft Excel and possess good analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills. A willingness to learn and work hard to develop your career within Thames Water is important. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications
It is desirable to be degree educated in a related subject, although this is not essential.
