Location
Rural property near the sea in Suffolk, Ipswich, United Kingdom, set within approximately 4 acres of grounds.

Hours
5 days per week, approximately 40 hours per week, with Sundays and Mondays off. 24/7 security responsibility on days worked.

Salary
£30,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
This varied live-in role involves the security and general upkeep of a private rural property. Responsibilities include maintaining security at all times, light maintenance, animal care such as feeding the dog and alpacas, dealing with contractors, accepting deliveries, running errands, and collecting the employers from the local station. A one-bedroom cottage is provided as staff accommodation with all costs covered. A car is also provided for use on and off duty, with all running costs covered. The accommodation is not suitable for a partner or pets. The ideal candidate will be happy to be based on site and take pride in maintaining a secure and well-kept environment.

Experience
Experience in security, caretaking, or gardening is preferred. A background in the military or police is ideal.

About you
Non-smoker with a full driving licence. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently. Comfortable living on site and managing a variety of duties including animal care and property maintenance.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications required, but relevant experience and a responsible attitude are essential.
