Location
Tidworth as your primary location, with requirement to work at other locations within the Southern Region as needed.

Hours
40 hours per week, including standby cover and overtime as part of a rota (typically 1 week in 4) with additional payment.

Salary
Up to £42,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will assist with inspections, servicing, and repairs on both Waste and Clean water assets across the Southern Region. You will help ensure energy-efficient operation of assets, minimise downtime and pollution risks, and reduce raw material usage by completing thorough maintenance tasks with first-time fixes. You will also assist with completing test reports, installation certificates, and customer feedback documents while working closely with key stakeholders and customer teams, requiring strong communication skills. Additionally, you will be encouraged to develop and deliver innovations to maximise efficiency within operational teams. Experience
Experience of plant operations is required.

About you
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence. Able to pass Security Clearance in line with Ministry of Defence vetting and Police CRB background screening assessment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to innovation and efficiency are essential.

Qualifications
NVQ or a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance at Level 2 or equivalent.
