About the Role

As an MRF Team Leader you’ll be pushing for innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future for all. You will operate the MRF facility with a focus on safety and customer service excellence while meeting company objectives. Serving as the primary contact for service users, you will provide expert recycling guidance and customer support. You will build and maintain strong team dynamics through effective coaching and mentoring of staff, demonstrating leadership by upholding organisational values and engaging with stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting KPIs, maintaining high housekeeping standards and clear communication channels, managing employee performance and attendance through proper documentation and review processes, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and legal requirements while leading by example.

Experience
Proficiency with CMS Systems
Knowledge and practical understanding of waste hierarchy
Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities
Competency in IT skills, particularly Google platform
Understanding of working time directive regulations

Qualifications
IOSH Managing Safely certification
