38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus standby weeks including weekend work on an 8-week rota pattern

Starting salary of £28,970 per annum, depending on skills and experience
About the Role
This is an exciting and varied customer-facing role where you will resolve customer network challenges to ensure minimal disruption to supply. You will meet and assist different people daily, working on a variety of projects to deliver the best service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include taking personal ownership of customer queries, responding to and resolving issues at their homes or workplaces, working with contractors on planned and unplanned work, and investigating clean water networks to address issues such as pressure problems, leakage, metering queries, and supply loss. You will help control burst mains by ensuring isolation for planned work, emergency repairs, and maintenance. Additional duties include valve operations, water sampling, valve checks, and planning. You will work well within a team covering core and standby hours, supported by a comprehensive training plan. No prior experience is needed, only a desire to learn and excellent customer service skills.
Experience
Previous customer service experience in a dynamic and changing environment is essential. Basic knowledge of domestic plumbing, water mains, or leakage is advantageous but not required as full training is provided.
