38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus standby weeks including weekend work on an 8-week rota pattern

About the Role
This is an exciting and varied customer-facing role where you will resolve customer network challenges to ensure minimal disruption to supply. You will meet and help different people daily, working on a variety of projects to deliver the best service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include taking personal ownership of customer queries and resolving issues at their homes or workplaces, working with contractors on planned and unplanned work, investigating clean water networks to address issues such as high or low pressure, leakage, metering queries, and loss of supply. You will help control burst mains by ensuring isolation for planned work, emergency repairs, and maintenance. Additional duties include valve operations, water sampling, valve checks, and planning. You will work well within a team covering core and standby hours, including participation in a standby rota. A comprehensive training plan is provided, so no prior experience is needed—just a desire to learn and excellent customer service skills.

Experience
Previous customer service experience in a dynamic environment is essential. Basic knowledge of domestic plumbing, water mains, or leakage is advantageous but not required as full training is provided.

You will have excellent customer service skills, a can-do and positive attitude, be self-motivated, confident in completing tasks to a high standard, able to work independently, have excellent time management, and a solution-focused mindset.

A full UK driving licence is required and you must be happy to drive between jobs.
