Night Shifts Monday to Sunday, 20:00 - 06:30. Day shifts Monday to Thursday during a 6-month training period.
Salary
Starting from £29,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
About the Role
Join Thames Water’s North London team as a Night Network Service Technician in a varied, customer-facing role. You will resolve customer network challenges to ensure minimal disruption to water supply, working on a range of projects to deliver excellent service. Your responsibilities will include taking personal ownership of customer queries, resolving issues at homes or workplaces, collaborating with contractors on planned and unplanned works, and investigating clean water networks to address performance issues such as pressure problems, leakage, metering queries, and supply loss. You will also control burst mains by isolating sections to enable planned work, emergency repairs, and maintenance. Additional duties include valve operations, water sampling, valve checks, and planning. As the role involves daily driving, a full UK driving licence is essential. The role comes with a company van, PPE, and a fuel card.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role or utilities-based environment is essential. Proven customer service experience in a dynamic environment is required.
About you
You will have a can-do, positive attitude with initiative and a solution-focused approach. Excellent time management skills and the ability to complete tasks to the best of your ability are important. You must hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving between jobs.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of domestic plumbing, water mains, or leakage is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
