About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join a busy Health and Safety Team supporting a large organisation. This varied, advisory-focused role covers workplace health and safety, operational activities, contractor management and employee welfare. You will provide practical advice, undertake audits and workplace assessments, support accident and incident investigations, develop action plans, deliver engaging training and work collaboratively with managers, contractors and other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be a confident health and safety professional able to handle a variety of issues requiring practical judgement and an adaptable approach rather than simply following predefined processes. Experience within a local authority, housing association, NHS or similar operational environment would be advantageous.
This role is not site based but will involve visits to operational workplaces and other locations as required. A full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are essential.
