What you’ll be doing;
Supervise the day to day compliance with the Environmental Permit, reporting any non-compliance or incident to the Operations Manager.
Supervise daily activities in the Tipping Hall and associated areas ensuring O&MAs are employed accordingly to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
Supervise O&MAs in the cost effective, safe and efficient operation of the ERF within all operational procedures and also in emergency situations.
Supervise the reception and disposal of waste and ensure compliance with Company Procedures by all vehicles and drivers while on site.
Ensure O&MAs are available to operate refuse cranes, mobile plant, weighbridge and other equipment as required by the operational demands of the ERF.
Work within the company’s Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System and all relevant legislation.
Assist other Company staff and contractors as required.
Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management.

Experience
Strong knowledge of regulatory and health & safety requirements.
Engineering role experience (ideally).
Proven experience in industrial environments, preferably with continuous process operations.
Competency operating (or ability to train on) mobile equipment and fixed plant.
