About the Role

As a Plant Operative, you will operate plant processing equipment such as mixing tanks, pumps, and general control room operations. You will carry out waste treatment operations and operate site-based vehicles including forklift trucks, wheeled loading shovels, rigid bulk tankers, and other machinery once trained. You will assist in the maintenance of plant, equipment, and processes, while promoting environmental awareness to contractors, visitors, and employees. Experience
Previous experience in a similar operational manual handling role is required. Operational knowledge of plant and equipment and the ability to drive mobile plant machinery is essential.

About you
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have knowledge of health and safety, ideally to an IOSH standard. You should be safety conscious and able to promote environmental awareness. Forklift and yellow plant licences are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
Relevant licences such as forklift and yellow plant licences are advantageous. A commitment to health and safety standards and willingness to undertake ongoing training is expected.
