About the Role
Stantec’s Water division is growing rapidly with exciting opportunities across the South region and the UK. We partner with leading water clients and work on some of the largest, most iconic water projects in the industry, focusing on sustainable development and infrastructure that adapts to and mitigates climate change impacts. Our teams deliver projects across water and wastewater treatment, networks, storm water overflows, and urban drainage, covering the full project lifecycle from asset planning and strategy through to detailed design. We also collaborate closely with contractor partners on major Design and Build projects.

As a Principal Civil Engineer, you will lead the civil engineering design on projects, working alongside overall project design leads to ensure successful delivery and client satisfaction. You will provide leadership and mentoring to engineers within the project and support the wider civil engineering team leadership. You will have access to Stantec’s world-class expertise to deliver cutting-edge design solutions that place sustainability, environment, and community at the heart of every project.

Experience
Extensive design experience within the UK water industry is essential. Proven track record of successful project delivery and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams. Experience in client-facing roles, leading client engagement and collaboration regularly.

Qualifications
Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a relevant subject. Ideally professionally qualified as a Chartered or Incorporated member of a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.
