You will play a key role within the Ground Risk and Remediation team, supporting a broad portfolio of medium and large-scale projects across renewable energy, transport, property, residential and water sectors. Your responsibilities will include leading geo-environmental work from desk studies and feasibility through planning, design and construction phases, acting as a primary contact for clients, project teams and regulators. This role combines technical leadership, project management and client engagement, overseeing project delivery and budgets ranging from a few thousand to several hundred thousand pounds. Additionally, you will contribute to building a collaborative, high-performing team with line management responsibility for two to three technical staff.

Your Impact in this Position
In the short term, you will establish trusted relationships with clients and internal teams, take ownership of live projects and enhance delivery controls across time, cost and quality. In the medium term, you will help grow repeat business, broaden exposure to major multidisciplinary work and influence project strategy and technical direction. Over the longer term, this role offers clear progression to become a trusted technical leader, expand your influence across the business and support growth across multiple sectors.

Proven ability to manage geo-environmental projects from inception to completion, maintaining delivery, budgets and programmes while balancing technical quality and commercial awareness. Experience in client and stakeholder engagement, acting as a credible point of contact for clients, contractors, regulators and colleagues. Skilled in preparing and reviewing technical reports including contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.

About you
