About the Role
Join Tetra Tech as a Technical Director and help shape the future of our Wastewater Asset Planning and Hydraulic Modelling capability. This high-profile leadership role involves providing technical leadership across wastewater asset planning and hydraulic modelling projects, focusing on quality, innovation, and client confidence. You will lead consultancy commissions, support project teams with expert guidance, and contribute to long-term business strategy. The role includes building strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, representing Tetra Tech at conferences, publications, and professional forums. You will identify future market needs, shape service development, and strengthen technical capability and talent within the team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a Technical Director role, supporting key projects and client meetings, contributing to the Technical Excellence Group, developing new opportunities, expanding service offerings, mentoring colleagues, and becoming a recognised thought leader in the sector.

Experience
Significant experience in wastewater asset planning and hydraulic modelling consultancy. Proven track record of technical innovation and development. Strong knowledge of the water industry, including regulatory and compliance standards. Experience leading complex projects and advising delivery teams.

About you
Confident engaging with senior clients and stakeholders, with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage your own time effectively, and mentor colleagues. Strong MS Office skills. Willingness to represent the company at industry events and professional forums.

Qualifications
A relevant degree is essential. A higher degree in a water-related subject and Chartered or Incorporated status (preferably ICE or CIWEM) is advantageous. A full UK driving licence is required.
