
Location
Mogden Sewage Treatment Works, Isleworth, TW7 7LW, London.
Hours
36 hours per week across a 12-hour rotating shift pattern (days and nights).
Salary
Up to £43,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
About the Role
We are seeking a Process Controller to join our Mogden Sewage Treatment Works as a key member of the area operations team. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Sewage Treatment Works, including the plant and equipment. Your duties will include carrying out high voltage and related low voltage switching operations, monitoring, collating and reporting data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and meeting regulatory quality standards and customer demand.
- Process faults and advise suitable rectifications by first fix or escalate to Maintenance Scheduler or Team Leader.
- Carry out isolations to plant and issue Permits to Work as part of a safe system of work.
- Assist with on-site capital project works, coordinate maintenance and operational personnel, and raise reactive work when required.
- Monitor stock levels and manage deliveries.
- Undertake safety and security checks, taking responsibility for your own health and safety and that of colleagues.
- Operate and monitor processes from the Control Room using SCADA, and when necessary, carry out operations and inspections in the process area.

Experience
- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking, attention to detail, and effective workload management.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships.
- Competency in using company IT systems.
- Ability to work unsupervised on 12-hour shifts, including nights.
About you
- Full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role.
- Strong health and safety knowledge.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Qualifications
- Desirable: Experience with SCADA systems.
- Desirable: Qualification in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation & Control (City and Guilds, ONC/OND, HNC/HND or equivalent).
- Desirable: Appointed Person for High Voltage (electrical work) or ability to complete the AP(HV) course.
