About the Role
Join an established engineering centre of excellence where you will contribute to future treatment solutions, support strategic decision-making, and help develop best-practice standards. As a Process Engineer – Wastewater & Sludge Treatment, you will design treatment processes by developing wastewater and sludge treatment solutions that meet regulatory, environmental, and internal performance standards. You will collaborate across disciplines, working with engineering, technical, and operational teams to deliver integrated, high-quality project outcomes. Your role will include improving design standards by contributing to the evolution of internal design standards and best practices, providing technical assurance through expert review, sign-off, and guidance throughout project delivery and handover. Additionally, you will support operational teams by delivering technical input to optimise performance and troubleshoot issues, while helping to develop engineering capability and shape a strong, sustainable engineering community from entry level to specialists.
Additional Information
Regular travel to sites as needed by the project and weekly attendance at Clearwater Court are required.

Experience
Understanding of wastewater and sludge treatment processes and their role in regulatory compliance. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex challenges into practical solutions. Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
About you
Clear and confident communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Commitment to diversity and inclusion within engineering. Willingness to travel regularly to project sites and attend Clearwater Court weekly.
Qualifications
Degree-level qualification in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Progress toward chartership with a recognised professional institution is desirable.
