About the Role
As an SAC Planning Consultant, you will lead the design, development, and enhancement of advanced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning solutions and dashboards. These business-critical tools enable data-driven decisions for the wider business and senior leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into effective SAC planning models, ensuring robust integration with SAP and non-SAP data sources. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will influence enterprise-wide adoption and drive innovation across the BI landscape.

Your responsibilities include leading the end-to-end development and execution of SAC Planning solutions aligned with strategic goals, engaging directly with business stakeholders including C-suite executives to deliver impactful planning and reporting solutions. You will design and build advanced SAC planning models, data actions, value driver trees, and workflows supporting financial and operational forecasting. As the main escalation point for SAC planning issues, you will ensure timely resolution and a seamless user experience.

You will implement effective data versioning and row-level security measures to meet governance and compliance needs, manage the SAC product backlog by prioritising and refining user stories, and participate in technical architecture and solution design discussions within BI and data engineering teams. Clear communication of complex SAC concepts to non-technical stakeholders, delivering training sessions and documentation to empower business users, and championing SAP Analytics Cloud across the business are key aspects of this role.

Staying up to date with SAC product updates, industry trends, and best practices, you will contribute to continuous improvement while working closely with the Data Engineering team and collaborating with other IT and digital workplace teams to support integration and operational excellence.
