Hours
Monday to Friday 7:30-15:36, 38 hours per week including working on a call-out rota with additional payment. Once on full working pattern, you will work 1 weekend every 6 weeks.

Salary
Starting from £28,335 per annum depending on skills and experience.

About the Role

As an Operations Process Technician, you will be part of the frontline operations team based in the picturesque Cotswolds, with the main base at Witney. This essential role ensures the smooth operation of wastewater treatment works to maintain supply to customers and protect the environment.

You will work outdoors in all weather conditions carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure sites run safely, efficiently, and within permitted specifications. Responsibilities include monitoring, inspecting, and maintaining equipment, reporting defects for repair or attempting first-time fixes, and taking ownership of health and safety for yourself and colleagues by escalating or resolving concerns.

You will also collate and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance. This role offers a wealth of varied activities and the opportunity to contribute to Thames Water’s mission of building a greener future by tackling climate change, minimising environmental impact, and reducing carbon footprint.

Experience
Experience in delivering against challenging upper-quartile business targets and performance commitments is desirable but not essential. We welcome candidates from outside the water industry who bring fresh perspectives and ideas.

Qualifications
Full UK driving licence is required.
