About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team at Horley (Surrey) STW. You do not need a background in the waste or water industry as we welcome applications from candidates outside the sector, bringing fresh perspectives and ideas. This is an essential front-line role critical to the business operations. Every day is different; you will work in all weather conditions, carrying out a range of tasks across multiple sites to ensure the essential functions of our sewage treatment works operate effectively to maintain supply to our customers and protect the environment.
Your responsibilities will include planned preventative maintenance of equipment to support plant operation, carrying out scheduled maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience, operating and cleaning plant and equipment to maintain operational and health and safety standards, attending reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure, keeping sites clean and tidy, undertaking safety and security checks, and performing daily site checks to ensure compliant operation.

Experience
No previous experience in the waste or water industry is required. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring enthusiasm and fresh ideas.

Qualifications
A full UK driver's licence is essential. Other qualifications are not specified but a willingness to learn and develop is critical.
