About the Role
We have a great opportunity for a Process Technician to join our team covering water production sites, reservoirs, and pumping stations across Southwest London. No prior experience in the water industry is required; we welcome applications from candidates outside the sector who bring fresh perspectives and ideas. This is an essential front-line role critical to the operation of our business. You will work in all weather conditions carrying out a variety of tasks to ensure the water treatment works operate effectively, maintaining supply to customers and protecting the environment.
Your responsibilities will include the operation of plant and equipment used in groundwater treatment to meet strict drinking water standards, including cleaning, basic maintenance, routine checks, and fault-finding. You will monitor, collate, and report data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, undertake health and safety and security checks, and report hazards, near misses, and incidents promptly. You will accurately report faults and record work and asset information using a field laptop, receive chemical deliveries ensuring correct checks and paperwork, and provide technical assistance and guidance to new starters and colleagues. You will also attend team meetings, engage with safety briefings and company communications, and contribute constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
There has never been a better time to join us as we build towards a greener future, tackling climate change, minimising environmental impact, and reducing our carbon footprint.
