About the Role

The Programme Management and Commercial Management (PMCM) team is seeking a Programme Manager to advise clients in the water sector, focusing on establishing programme management approaches for large-scale capital investments.

In this role, you will work closely with clients to apply your expertise in managing benefits, costs, and commercial aspects of programmes, ensuring financial efficiency and value. You will manage projects and programmes from inception to completion, driving successful delivery and operational success.

Your responsibilities will include reporting performance metrics with a sharp eye for detail, maintaining accuracy and quality in all deliverables, and fostering a continuous drive for learning and innovation to improve processes and build team capabilities.

You will provide leadership in collaborative improvement and change management, promoting a culture of coaching, innovation, safety, accountability, and effective problem-solving. Your analytical skills will support independent research, strategy development, conflict resolution, and prioritisation of solutions to ensure project success and stakeholder alignment.

Risk management and proactive negotiation are key aspects of this role, involving risk assessment, recommendations, and facilitating stakeholder engagement to support informed decision-making and empower team success.

Experience
Relevant experience as a programme manager or project manager is required. Experience in the water sector is preferable. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve desired outcomes.
