About the Role

The Programme Management and Commercial Management (PMCM) team is seeking a Programme Manager to advise clients in the water sector, focusing on establishing programme management approaches for large-scale capital investments.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to leverage your expertise in managing benefits, costs, and commercial aspects of programmes, ensuring financial efficiency and value. You will manage projects and programmes from inception to completion, driving successful delivery and operational success.
Your responsibilities will include reporting performance metrics with a sharp eye for detail, maintaining accuracy and quality in all deliverables, and continuously seeking ways to improve processes and build team capabilities. Leadership in collaborative improvement and change management is essential, fostering a culture of coaching, innovation, safety, accountability, and effective problem-solving.
You will also conduct independent research and synthesize information to develop strategies, resolve conflicts proactively, and prioritise solutions that drive project success and stakeholder alignment. Risk management and proactive negotiation skills will support informed decision-making and empower team success through effective stakeholder engagement.

Experience
Relevant experience as a programme manager or project manager. Experience in the water sector is preferable. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve desired outcomes.
