About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in managing complex consultancy projects and stakeholder engagement, ideally with a background in sustainable aviation, transport, and climate policy.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of large, multidisciplinary projects involving multiple partner organisations and complex logistics, including international workshops and training events. Your responsibilities will include project and financial management, client and partner relationship management, stakeholder consultation, and supporting business development activities. You will work flexibly across thematic areas in aviation and climate policy, collaborating with technical experts to deliver high-quality outputs that influence regulatory approaches in the UK, Europe, and globally.

Experience
- Proven experience managing consultancy projects and programmes, including stakeholder consultation activities
- Relevant consultancy or advisory experience in sustainable aviation, transport, or climate policy
- Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects with multiple partners
- Strong client and partner relationship management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within diverse specialist teams
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritise across multiple projects
- Fluency in English with excellent report writing skills
About you
- Educated to Master’s degree level or higher in a related discipline such as sustainability, sciences, economics, geography, engineering, or political science
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, supervise, and coach junior team members
- Enjoys building relationships and engaging with clients and stakeholders
- Flexible and adaptable to work across a range of thematic areas and geographies
- Demonstrates critical thinking and a passion for delivering sustainable solutions
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with the European Commission or similar clients
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and frameworks such as ICAO’s Long Term Aspirational Goals, CORSIA, and the EU Fit for 55 package
- Familiarity with policy evaluation methods and tools
- Experience organising workshops and delivering technical assistance
- Understanding of quantitative scenarios and modelling
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to Europe, Latin America, or South East Asia is a plus but not essential
