About the Role
Join Thames Water as a Project Manager and play a key role in shaping the future of clean water treatment. You will work alongside the Senior Project Manager to deliver essential upgrades at Hampton and Ashford Water Treatment Works in West London. This role involves defining the scope, programme, and budget for AMP8 delivery, collaborating closely with internal and external contractors during the early stages of this innovative project. Your responsibilities will include establishing and promoting a proactive health, safety, and environment culture across complex, high-risk project portfolios, ensuring project delivery meets time, cost, and quality targets, and managing governance compliance and stakeholder engagement. You will develop project briefs, manage contractor performance, and protect Thames Water’s reputation with customers and stakeholders. A valid driver’s licence is required for this role.
Experience
- Experience working alongside internal and external contractors within a project scope
- Relevant operational or project management experience
- Contractual awareness related to project management
- Proven track record managing the performance of third-party organisations
- Experience setting up and implementing feedback systems to improve business performance
