About the Role
As a Receptionist (Security) with Equans – Sustainable FM, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for all visitors and staff. You will deliver a best-in-class front-of-house experience that combines professional customer service, strong security awareness, and efficient administrative support. Your responsibilities will include providing a warm, professional welcome to visitors and colleagues, maintaining a secure and organised reception area, managing access control, and operating the Visitor Management System (BluePoint) confidently. You will also support administrative tasks such as telephone handling, emails, photocopying, printing, and stationery checks. Monitoring and reporting any security or safety concerns, collaborating with colleagues and site management, and completing daily reports, incident logs, and asset registers accurately are key parts of this role. You will uphold company policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Health & Safety standards at all times, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace environment.

Experience
Strong knowledge of reception systems such as BluePoint or similar is required. Experience in security or front-of-house roles is advantageous.

Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to multi-task and remain attentive under pressure. You should have strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, a proactive mindset, and be a team player. Excellent IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams are essential.

Qualifications
You must hold a valid SIA Security Guard (SG) licence. Evidence of the right to work in the UK is required. Certain roles may require a Disclosure check as part of the recruitment process.
