You will ensure site standards are upheld on Water and Wastewater Treatment works and other land owned by United Utilities, including both asset and non-asset areas, maintaining quality, performance, and safety standards.

Recording work completed on a corporate system and carrying out minor remedial work on non-assets such as flags and fencing will also be part of your duties.
Supporting the training of new starters from the Youth Employment Program and employment agencies is expected. You must adhere to Health and Safety requirements, comply with regulations, internal company policies, and site-specific risk assessments. Identifying site standards improvements and winter work during scheduled visits, liaising closely with site staff, and applying pesticides including invasive weed management are also key responsibilities.
You will support the Team Leader in developing new works to meet partner requirements, ensuring implementation to timescale and budget while maintaining high standards. Liaising with other United Utilities members to ensure an integrated approach to project implementation and taking ownership of task-based activities when appropriate are essential. Additional reasonable tasks may be assigned by your line manager.
