About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retrofit Delivery Manager to join Nottingham City Council and lead the Greener HousiNG Retrofit Team. You will manage and deliver grant-funded home energy improvements as part of the Carbon Reduction Projects and Policy Service. The team has successfully delivered over 1,200 energy efficiency measures across Nottingham. This role acts as Project Manager for the Warm Homes Local Grant project and subsequent domestic retrofit schemes. As part of the Service Management Team, you will coordinate energy efficiency works that contribute to meeting the organisation’s fuel poverty and green growth targets. Experience
- Significant experience applying Project Management techniques to monitor and control programmes and projects.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale renewable energy programmes including solar PV, insulation, and whole house retrofits.
- In-depth knowledge of domestic energy efficiency system design such as solar PV, air source heat pumps, and insulation measures.
About you
- Ability to provide technical advice and recommendations supporting project proposals.
- Skilled in advising on EPC and PAS2035 (or current equivalent) compliance.
- Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and community partners from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in building services, construction, housing, engineering, or energy management.
- Level 5 Retrofit Coordinator qualification (PAS 2035) or commitment to obtain within 12 months.
