About the Role
At M Group Energy, we deliver essential infrastructure services across electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. As part of our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, you will play a key role in ensuring customers are billed correctly and energy usage is monitored effectively.

In this role, you will investigate, detect, and prevent gas and electricity theft in residential and commercial properties. You will ensure installations are made safe and collaborate with suppliers to determine further actions. Collecting evidence and providing detailed information to clients will be a key part of your responsibilities.

You will also be involved in debt recovery activities, which may include installing SMART meters or de-energising/disconnecting supplies. As a Revenue Protection Officer, professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service skills are essential, especially when managing challenging situations calmly and effectively.

Experience
- Experience installing gas and electric smart meters
- Strong customer service background with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Previous experience as a Revenue Protection Officer or in conflict management is beneficial but not essential

Qualifications
- Valid full UK driving licence with less than 6 points
- CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1
- NVQ Level 2 in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) / MOCOPA
- Nice to have (not essential): 3-phase qualification / CT / Medium Pressure
