About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable and proactive Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Maintenance Operative to join a busy and well-established site in Denham. This varied and hands-on role combines forklift operation with site maintenance and facilities support duties. You will play an important role in maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient working environment across the facility. This position suits someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in keeping sites running smoothly, and is happy supporting multiple areas of operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate counterbalance forklift and electric site vehicles safely
- Collect, sort and manage recyclable waste streams
- Empty bins and manage storage containers for cardboard, plastics, and packaging materials
- Operate baling and compacting machinery
- Carry out routine safety checks on vehicles and equipment
- Assist with lifting, shifting, and moving furniture or equipment across site
- Support upkeep of external grounds and site cleanliness
- Report hazards, unsafe practices, or faulty equipment
- Assist the facilities team with general housekeeping and operational tasks
- Support adverse weather preparation and occasional out-of-hours assistance if required

Experience
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Experience operating machinery and handling heavy loads
- Strong Health & Safety awareness
- Experience operating balers or compactors (desirable)
- Experience driving electric tow vehicles (desirable)
- Knowledge of recycling and waste management processes (desirable)
