About the Role
As a Risk & Assurance Advisor at Veolia, you will actively support the business on Safety, Quality & Assurance matters by conducting regular site visits as per the Annual planner. You will assure the business that the right standards are in place, undertake regular audits including engagement visits, and monitor progress against site improvement plans. Your role will support an operational team covering municipal collections, street cleaning, waste transfer stations, fleet workshops, and an Integrated Waste Management Facility. You will engage with teams to identify further improvements and provide practical solutions. Working closely with the Municipal Risk & Assurance Manager, you will support operations and liaise with external stakeholders, regulators, and customers where appropriate. Additionally, you will provide advice on industry best practices to clients and internal teams. Experience
Experience in a Safety Advisor role, ideally within waste management.
Auditing experience.
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
