About the Role

As Risk & Assurance Manager, you will establish a strategic vision for the Landfill, Energy Recovery Facility (ERF), Agricultural Services, and Construction sectors within the Treatment business. You will develop and enhance the Risk & Assurance team's capabilities to support daily operations and foster an Active Risk Culture across the business.

You will lead the planning, support, and continuous improvement of planned maintenance outages and construction projects, while contributing to the broader Risk & Assurance improvement programme by developing and implementing key initiatives. Your role will include conducting trend analysis and identifying key risk areas, focusing on the Technical and Construction aspects of the business, driving consistency and implementing improvements.

Experience
Experience in a Safety Advisor role, ideally within waste management, construction, or maintenance. Auditing experience is also required.

About you
You are motivated to actively participate in the improvement programme and its implementation across operational sites. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deliver industry-leading customer service to both internal and external customers. You have the ability to influence key stakeholders on site effectively.

Qualifications
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
