About the Role

We employ close to 3,000 people across more than 20 countries, delivering innovative, cross-sector sustainable solutions. Our vision is to create a safe and sustainable world.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Climate Economics Modeller to join our Economic Analysis team. In this role, you will support the development and application of the GEM-E3 model, conducting climate risk assessments and policy impact analyses for both EU and non-EU clients. Your work will focus on economic modelling, data analysis, and research to evaluate macroeconomic, distributional, and regional implications of climate and energy policies (transition risk) as well as physical climate impacts.

Key responsibilities include developing and applying economic models such as CGE models, managing and analysing large datasets related to energy, economy, and transport, reviewing scientific and market reports, and developing policy recommendations. You will also contribute to EU-funded research projects and IPCC-related work, manage multiple projects efficiently, and collaborate closely with team members to deliver high-quality research outputs.

Ricardo offers a supportive and inclusive workplace culture where every voice matters. We encourage flexible working arrangements including remote, office-based, or hybrid options to support work-life balance. Your expertise will help deliver innovative solutions that support communities worldwide in becoming safer and more sustainable.
