About the Role
Join AECOM’s dynamic Nature team as a Senior Ecologist and help shape the future of the environment. You will work on a diverse portfolio of ecological programs and projects across sectors such as energy, water, renewables, defence, and transport. Our projects range from large infrastructure developments to smaller local initiatives, including national and international assignments. You will support the preparation of high-quality and commercially astute bids and tenders, plan and organise all phases of ecological project work, and ensure resources and budgets meet programme requirements. Delivering expert ecological consultancy and advisory services, you will contribute to producing ecology chapters for environmental statements and protected species licence applications. Your role will also involve authoring or technically checking project deliverables to maintain high-quality outputs. At AECOM, you will thrive in an inclusive, forward-thinking environment with access to career development opportunities, technical practice networks, AECOM University, and volunteering days. Join us to be part of a global team delivering projects that create positive and tangible impacts for communities and the environment.
