
Location
Hybrid - Hampton Coal Wharf, TW12 2ES, with travel to Reading Clearwater Court for meetings and regular site visits to support project design and delivery.
Hours
36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary
Up to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a leading role within our Above Ground Engineering team. In this position, you will help drive Thames Water’s ambitious AMP8 goals and make a lasting impact across the organisation and beyond. Your key responsibilities will include establishing front-end design for projects as part of multi-disciplinary teams, developing feasibility studies and project briefs, supporting Operations with technical and electrical problem investigations including root cause analysis and producing investigation reports with recommendations. You will contribute to the development and updating of Thames Water's electrical asset standards, deliver engineering regulatory compliance on relevant electrical assets, and support the development of less experienced members of the Electrical Engineering team, including Apprentices and Graduate Scheme employees.

Experience
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering including High Voltage and Low Voltage Systems.
- Meaningful experience within the water industry.
- Understanding of the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with engineering regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of electrical standards, British standards, and HSE regulations.

Qualifications
- A degree qualification is preferred, but lesser qualifications with extensive practical experience will be considered.
