About the Role
Join Veolia and help the world take better care of its resources while contributing to an inclusive culture. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead a team of electrical and mechanical engineers and fitters across multiple sites. Your responsibilities will include carrying out complex electrical asset overhauls, repairs, and modifications on dewatering equipment, pumps, pipework, valves, and ancillary equipment. You will work under CDM regulations on project work and lead remedial tasks on dewatering EICA systems. Troubleshooting electrical systems such as filtration and centrifuge, designing and installing electrical control systems to WIMES standards, and completing wiring and cabling works will be key parts of your role. You will also perform electrical inspections, services, and repairs on customers’ dewatering assets and machines. The role requires flexibility to provide standby cover, work overtime, and occasionally work away from home. Some mechanical crossover is involved, so the role will not be 100% electrical at all times. You will complete test reports, installation certificates, customer feedback documents, and necessary safety paperwork including permits to work.
