About the Role
My Client, a market leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy specialising in low carbon builds and natural flood management, is seeking a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their innovative team. This role offers the opportunity to help develop and build a team focused on sustainable flood risk and drainage solutions. You will work on a wide portfolio of projects across Residential, Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Renewables, and Education sectors for both public and private clients, with sustainability and carbon reduction at the core of all innovation.

Key responsibilities include:
- Completing Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3
- Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS
- Developing SuDS strategies
- Designing drainage, attenuation, and SuDS solutions using Infodrainage and Causeway Flow
- Hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow
- Designing sustainable drainage solutions for diverse sectors
- Implementing natural flood management techniques
- Participating in client meetings to discuss project progress
- Supporting and mentoring team members to grow and develop the team

Experience
Proven experience working for a UK-based consultancy completing flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and designs using Infodrainage, Causeway, or AutoCAD. Experience with hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller or Tuflow is highly beneficial. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, manage projects, and mentor team members is essential.

Qualifications
