About AECOM’s Landscape Architecture Team
Our UK&I Landscape Architecture team is renowned for delivery excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration. We work across all design stages, blending strengths in design, planning, and management to create imaginative solutions that enhance communities and environments. Recent projects include energy transition (wind, solar, hydrogen, nuclear, storage, and energy transmission), infrastructure, and new neighbourhoods that shape cities and regions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver landscape design and planning projects
- Undertake site survey and analysis using innovative processes
- Represent AECOM’s technical excellence in meetings and workshops
- Assist project leads with management including financial and programme responsibilities
- Mentor and develop junior staff and support a culture of continuous growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and collaborators
- Facilitate proactive client engagement and business development
- Produce and oversee reports, drawings, and technical documentation across all development stages
- Support contract administration to ensure high-quality project delivery
- Collaborate iteratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions
Experience
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Experience preparing LVIAs, TVIAs, and evidence-base documents in line with best practice
- Proven experience designing public realm schemes and complex multi-disciplinary projects
- Knowledge and understanding of the UK planning system
- Project management experience including financial control, reporting, and programme management

Qualifications
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Revit and/or Civil 3D is highly desirable
- Skilled in preparing clear graphics, technical reports, and construction documentation
- Full UK driving licence required to access remote sites
