About the Role
Join AECOM's Infrastructure Project Management team as a Senior Project Manager working on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects. These include projects aligned with the £88bn AMP8 investment period for Water Companies and nationwide programmes with the Environment Agency focused on flood risk management, climate resilience, and environmental protection. You will lead the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary complex projects within collaborative delivery teams, managing client-side project activities including stakeholder engagement, health and safety, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management. You will ensure projects are delivered to client satisfaction in terms of quality, cost, and time, while supporting and managing project teams and subcontractors. This role offers opportunities to work across the Southeast, Southwest, London, and Midlands, contributing to nationally significant environmental programmes. Experience
- Proven infrastructure project management experience, ideally within the water industry
- Experience with NEC suite of contracts, particularly Professional Services Contract (PSC) and Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC)
- Experience working within integrated, multi-organisation collaborative teams
- Experience of client-side project management including contract administration and stakeholder engagement
- Experience working within or alongside client organisations, including co-location or secondment arrangements
- Excellent IT skills and ability to utilize current digital tools

Qualifications
- Relevant degree in project management, engineering, environmental science, construction, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contract management
- Project management qualification such as APMQ or PRINCE2 is desirable
- Associate membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. MRICS, APM, CIOB), preferably chartered, is desirable
- Proven experience in consulting environments providing full spectrum project management services including chairing meetings, developing project execution plans, progress reporting, and tender documentation
- Ability to undertake and successfully complete security screening checks if required
