About the Role

Join our dynamic and multidisciplinary Water Team as a Senior Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller, delivering impactful water projects across the UK and internationally. You will contribute to significant flood alleviation schemes, pollution reduction, and infrastructure projects, supporting your continuous professional growth. Our modelling team is fully integrated with wider project teams, working closely with experts across disciplines to develop comprehensive solutions.

As an industry leader in Blue-Green infrastructure and nature-based solutions, we collaborate with public and private sector clients including Severn Trent, Anglian Water, Northern Ireland Water, the Environment Agency, LLFAs, and other infrastructure providers. Our work includes Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, Outline Business Cases, hydraulic models, and detailed designs. We also shape industry standards by advising and developing guidance that benchmarks best practices, keeping AECOM at the forefront of the water industry.

You will build hydraulic models, verify sewer networks, develop integrated models, and support project scoping and planning. You will deliver technical innovation, problem solve for clients, prepare technical reports and presentations, mentor team members, foster client relationships, and ensure quality and compliance in all deliverables.

Experience
Proven experience in water consultancy with expertise in hydraulic modelling, GIS, or data analysis. Experience with ArcGIS or MapInfo is essential. Knowledge of hydraulic modelling or asset management software such as Innovyze ICM or InfoAsset is required.

Qualifications
