About the Role
As a Transport Service Coordinator at Veolia, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of service delivery, including the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles and routes. You will communicate regularly with customers, stakeholders, and drivers, providing status updates and maintaining strong engagement. Your responsibilities will include completing debriefs with frontline staff, reporting necessary actions, and supporting drivers to resolve any issues encountered on route. You will be responsible for reporting all safety concerns or container damage and encouraging a ‘stop the job’ approach if it is unsafe to continue. Ensuring Veolia’s legal compliance on-site, including Working Time Directive (WTD), O’licence, and transport compliance, will be a critical part of your role. Experience
- Demonstrable understanding of transport compliance and Working Time Directive (WTD)
- Experience working with a quality management system such as ISO
- Proven ability to manage transport compliance
- Strong IT skills with adaptability to Google operating systems
- Previous experience in waste, transport, or logistics is desirable but not essential

- Ability to organise and manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to safety and compliance, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
