Location
Oxford and covering Southern England, including South/South-West England.

Hours
Full time, including participation in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours cover.

Salary
£35,000 - £45,000 per year, with overtime paid at time and a half and an on-call allowance.

About the Role
Join a rapidly growing, family-run SME headquartered in Gloucester, operating within the water industry. As a Service Engineer, you will be a vital member of a vibrant team, responsible for responding to maintenance, repairs, and commissioning requests across Southern England. Your role includes installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing pumps, pump systems, and other mechanical equipment. You will conduct scheduled site visits, provide detailed reports and recommendations, and attend emergency call-outs when required. Safety is paramount, and you will produce robust risk assessments and method statements while maintaining professionalism and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Routine preventative maintenance on wastewater systems and effective communication with schedulers and the team are key aspects of this role. You will also be responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness, stock levels, and keeping up to date with company policies and procedures. The company provides a van, tools, and a mobile phone to support your work.

Experience
Technical knowledge of water boosting technology and packaged pump stations. Experience in the pump industry or construction-related roles is essential.

Qualifications
Confined Space Entry Qualification. Current CSCS qualification. Some electrical training. Emergency First Aid at Work Qualification. Clean driving license.
