Location
Covering the South side of the M25, based from Gloucester headquarters. Canterbury area included.

Hours
Full time, including participation in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours cover.

Salary
£35,000 - £45,000 per year, with overtime paid at time and a half and an on-call allowance.

About the Role
We are seeking a Service Engineer to join a rapidly growing, family-run SME operating within the water industry. As a key member of a vibrant team, you will respond to maintenance, repairs, and commissioning requests for pumps, pump systems, and other mechanical equipment. Your role will involve installing, commissioning, servicing, and repairing equipment, conducting site visits, attending emergency call-outs, and producing detailed reports and recommendations. You will ensure safety compliance by producing risk assessments and method statements, maintain professionalism, and prioritize customer satisfaction. Routine preventative maintenance on wastewater systems and effective communication with schedulers and the team are essential. You will also be responsible for maintaining vehicle cleanliness and stock levels, and keeping up to date with company policies and procedures.

Experience
- Technical knowledge of water boosting technology and packaged pump stations
- Experience in the pump industry or construction-related roles

Qualifications
- Confined Space Entry Qualification
- Current CSCS qualification
