About the Role
With the UK government’s ambitious goal of delivering 60GW of solar power by 2030, Solar Careers UK is on a mission to recruit, train, and place over 43,000 new professionals into rewarding careers within the solar and battery storage industry. Solar Careers UK is a division of Solar Energy UK, representing over 425 solar businesses across the country, specialising in high-quality solar installations for domestic, commercial, and utility-scale projects. We are assisting with the recruitment of full-time, permanent installation teams across all regions of the UK. As a Solar PV Project Manager, you will take ownership of commercial solar PV projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring successful delivery and client satisfaction.

Experience
Proven experience managing commercial Solar PV projects, including pre-construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Familiarity with DNO applications, grid connections, procurement, project planning, and budget management is essential.

About you
Organised and proactive with excellent communication skills. Able to manage multiple stakeholders including clients and site teams. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and compliance. Ability to produce and manage RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and MCS certification documentation.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in solar PV project management or related fields are desirable but not mandatory. A commitment to ongoing professional development within the solar industry is expected.
