About the Role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the System Optimisation Team, helping ensure Thames Water delivers safe, reliable and high-quality water services to our customers. You’ll work closely with operational, engineering and leakage teams to monitor, analyse and optimise the performance of the clean water network — keeping it stable and resilient, even in emergencies.
- Monitoring, investigating and resolving pressure issues, customer complaints and critical alarms.
- Supporting the System Optimisation Engineer during planned and unplanned operational events.
- Analysing network performance data and identifying solutions to maintain system stability.
- Coordinating logging of pressure-managed areas and ensuring data accuracy.
- Supporting risk assessments and operational planning to minimise customer impact.
- Contributing to wider strategies for managing pressures, flows, reservoir levels and pumping regimes.
- Ensuring all operations follow approved Asset Management Procedures.

Experience
Proven experience working with data and strong analytical skills are essential.
Experience with GIS mapping software or hydraulic modelling is a plus.

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
