About the Role
As a Technical Compliance Supervisor, you will have a varied role combining both field-based and office-based reviews. Field work involves attending sites to assess completed works against the scope and relevant standards. Office work includes reviewing images of completed works and performing data analysis for higher volume, low value works.

You will manage a team, including conducting one-to-ones, development, and day-to-day performance oversight. Building strong relationships with operational colleagues and suppliers is key to reviewing procedures and operational delivery against industry standards and best practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders and experts to produce guidance documents aimed at introducing consistent standards across all works.

This role requires a naturally inquisitive mindset focused on improving compliance with asset and industry standards while delivering best value for money. With a starter-finisher attitude, you will ensure that improvements are embedded effectively.

You will benefit from a strong support network within the operational commercial function, including contract managers, quantity surveyors, and senior managers. The environment is dynamic and adaptable, requiring you to embrace and embed flexibility across the team.

Travel will be required 1-2 times per week within the Thames Water estate to conduct site audits, attend contractor meetings, and engage on site.

Experience
- Prior experience supervising a team
- Experience in reading and interpreting construction drawings and asset standards
- Knowledge of construction techniques
- High level of commercial acumen
- Excellent MS Excel skills
