About the Role
Technical Coordinators are dedicated experts focused on designing, coordinating jobs, and project managing. They will use their technical knowledge to ensure that Field Technicians have detailed instructions and all the components they need to carry out their jobs the first time. We are looking for a motivated Technical Coordinator to join our team operating and maintaining approximately 200 wastewater Sewage Pumping Stations in the surrounding area. You’ll be working alongside another technical coordinator, and your focus will be on proactive site analysis, which means that you will be looking at things that can improve or optimise pumping station performance. Your responsibilities will include effectively managing the reactive workload for your team, working with framework contractors to deliver complex mechanical or electrical projects, providing technical support to your team and colleagues, analysing SCADA trends and carrying out analysis on this data to provide insight into asset behaviours, developing the asset risk profile and building business cases to secure capital investment, working with stakeholders to build relationships, and collaborating with multiple teams to help reduce the risk of pollution to the environment.

Experience
Mechanical or Electrical engineering background, experience in wastewater pumping, experience in managing contractors, knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and application.

Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and be proactive, good IT skills including the use of PowerPoint and Excel, problem-solving skills and able to think outside the box, ability to talk comfortably in front of customers and colleagues, passion for driving positive behaviours throughout your region and a willingness to help the team meet stretching operational targets.

Qualifications
Full UK Driving license.
