
Location
Hybrid - Orpington (PS & Depot), London. 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
Hours
36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus car allowance.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our Network Asset Maintenance team. In this hybrid role, you will ensure the upfront design and coordination of work is in place so that our technicians and contracted partners have everything needed to start and complete capital and planned maintenance programmes on schedule. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the delivery of Health and Safety for all team members and network workers, supporting exceptional customer service, monitoring budgetary and financial activities, and suggesting improvements. You will help manage proactive and reactive activities under assigned contracts, ensuring framework and non-framework suppliers understand expectations to achieve optimal performance. Motivating the team and developing action plans to maintain pride in their work will be key, as well as managing the upgrade, repair, and replacement of inoperable or underperforming assets to deliver successful first-time network service operations. All PPE and tools are provided.

Experience
- Strong skills in operations, maintenance, engineering, finance, health & safety, stakeholder engagement, and customer focus.
- Relevant experience coordinating teams of internal and external stakeholders to deliver key KPIs.
- Experience working with contracts managers and independently delivering specified work streams within SLAs.
- Ability to manage and report overtime usage in a controlled and fair manner.
- Competent in using company IT systems and office software; experience with GIS, Watercore, Waternet, Z-One, PI, SCADA, and MS Teams is preferred.
