Hours
36 hours per week (Monday to Friday) including an out-of-hours rota with additional payment

Salary
Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience

About the Role
Join us in leading essential maintenance operations across our estate. As a Technical Coordinator, you will manage pre-requisites within SAP including materials, permits, resources, and services for all complex planned and reactive maintenance jobs. You will use technical expertise and field data to design operationally critical jobs, highlight key operational risks and present these to secure funding. Maintaining plant and equipment availability and optimising treatment process performance will be key responsibilities. You will develop strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, provide expert technical advice, and generate solutions to operational risks. Additionally, you will obtain quotes, order materials and third-party services through framework contractors. Ensuring all Health and Safety aspects are correctly managed through safe system of work approvals, reviewing RAMS, permitting, and site audits is essential. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact while delivering top-tier service within budget and supporting apprentices through mentoring.

Requirements

Experience
- Relevant experience within Water or Wastewater treatment or a comparable industry is desirable
- Experience as a Mechanical and Electrical technician or ICA technician is advantageous
- Timed served apprenticeship and relevant technical qualification preferred
- Technical experience with a good understanding of asset maintenance
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues relevant to the industry

About you
- Highly logical with the ability to decide on and build dependencies between tasks
- Collaborative, able to work closely with Planners, Field Performance Managers, suppliers, and third parties
- Meticulous in documenting detailed requirements
- Able to manage a large workload of numerous jobs in parallel
- Competent with IT systems, with extensive use of SAP
- Effective communication skills
- A clean driving licence is essential due to travel requirements

Qualifications
- Relevant technical qualifications and apprenticeship completion are desirable but not mandatory
