Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience
About the Role
Join us in leading essential maintenance operations across our estate. As a Technical Coordinator, you will manage the pre-requisites within SAP (materials, permits, resources, and services) for all complex jobs related to planned and reactive maintenance and operations. You will use your technical expertise and data from the field to design operationally critical jobs, highlight key operational risks, and present these to secure funding. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining plant and equipment availability, optimising treatment process performance, and developing strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will provide expert advice on technical issues, generate solutions to operational risks, obtain quotes, order materials and third-party services through framework contractors, and ensure all Health and Safety aspects are managed correctly through safe system of work approvals, reviewing RAMS, permitting, and site audits.

Experience
- Relevant experience within Water or Wastewater treatment or a comparable industry is desirable
- Experience as a Mechanical and Electrical technician or ICA technician is preferred
- Timed served apprenticeship and relevant technical qualification advantageous
- Proven technical experience with a strong understanding of asset maintenance
- Good local knowledge of asset importance and interrelations within a site
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues relevant to the industry
About you
- Highly logical with the ability to build dependencies between tasks
- Collaborative, able to work closely with Planners, Field Performance Managers, suppliers, and third parties
- Meticulous in documenting detailed requirements and processes
- Able to manage a large workload of multiple jobs in parallel
- Competent with IT systems, especially SAP, and effective communication skills
- Holds a clean driving licence as the role involves travelling
