About the Role
Equans is seeking a T&I Electrician to join our team based in Edmonton, working on a permanent contract with Coca Cola. Reporting directly to the Site T&I Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the electrical testing and inspection contract, including its development. Your key duties will include carrying out scheduled electrical testing and inspection maintenance tasks such as Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, and Lightning Protection. You will also perform repairs and operations of equipment and services in line with best practices, provide input into and manage the planned maintenance schedule, ensuring all tasks meet the agreed PPM planner, SLA, and KPI targets. Additionally, you will complete both planned preventative maintenance and reactive work activities according to contract requirements and company competency appointments. Supervising specialist sub-contractors and reporting any anomalies to the Contract Supervisor or Site Management will also be part of your role. You will safely and efficiently maintain, or supervise the maintenance of, existing plant and equipment. This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical testing and inspection, including verification of single and three-phase electrical systems on large-scale industrial enterprises.

Experience
Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection within large-scale industrial environments is essential. Experience supervising specialist sub-contractors and managing planned maintenance schedules is highly desirable.
